​Affected by the global epidemic, foreign trade enterprises have switched from attending exhibitions abroad to online “face-to-face” negotiations. Online exhibitions have become a new way for enterprises to cope with the challenges of the epidemic

The  XI ‘an Brand Digital Online exhibition 2020-2021, hosted by China Council For The Promotion of International  Trade Xi’an Committee (CCPIT Xi an)

officially kicked off on August 31.

The purpose of this Online exhibition is to create an Internet-based“cloud exhibition”to help enterprises cope with the impact of the epidemic and expand economic and trade cooperation.

Approximately 50 enterprises from XI’an will be a part of this unique online exhibition through the digital platform. The Fair will be held from August 31th to September 2nd, 2020, with more than 50 Middle east and Africa enterprises and related institutions taking part and 50 high-quality Tea & Building materials suppliers and manufacturers of Medical products, realizing online accurate docking and accurate matching through internet cloud video conferencing technology

Long Xiaohua, the president of CCPIT OF XI’an Branch、Xia Peng, the vice president of CCPIT of XI’AN Branch、Zahoor·Ahamed, Vice President of MIE GROUP、 Zhang Pasheng, Vice President of MIE GROUP、Mohamed Astaib, President of Moroccan Tea Association attended the opening ceremony and gave speeches.More than 10 XI’AN enterprises attended the B2B Matching on 31st Aug.

Mohamed Astai,( President of Moroccan Tea Association)said that Morocco has been the world’s largest importer of green tea for a very long time. Tea imports account for 25% of China’s green tea exports to the world. In addition, on the basis of the annual rate, constantly increasing recorded in the level of tea imports from China, it is a safe bet, the forecast tea imports in Morocco are estimated, at around 100,000 tons by 2025.

At this time of the COVID-19 pandemic, we can confirm that local tea consumption in Morocco has been maintained and this scourge has not had a negative impact on local tea sales and its volume should be at less, be at a level comparable to that of last year.
